The OpenID Foundation Welcomes Visa to the Board of Directors

The OpenID Foundation is pleased to welcome David Henstock, Head of Identity Products at Visa to the board of directors as a sustaining member. Visa joins an accomplished group of identity thought leaders including, Cisco, Google, KDDI, Microsoft, NRI Secure, Okta, Ping Identity, Verizon and Yahoo Ad Tech. The Board is deeply committed to ensuring that the Foundations’ standards and programs are poised to meet the needs of a rapidly changing identity landscape. OpenID Foundations standards and programs already enable billions of users and millions of applications, and market demand indicates an even wider range of use cases will drive rapid adoption in the years ahead.
